I guess now would be a good time to announce that I have taken steps to join the National Novel Writing Month that takes place every November.

I have always thought of doing this, but never really took any steps to even do more than try to participate.

I am also stepping out of my fantasy comfort zone. I am planning to write a realistic fiction piece that stems from my memories of my high school life. I also am planning to write in the third person. I have started the prep already so the writing will just flow.

My hopes is to finish the novel. But we will see. Sometimes, things happen.

As John Lennon once penned, “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.”

So we shall see. Not that I am trying to be redundant or anything.

But I have a story brimming in my head, so hopefully the words will flow. Of course, knowing me, I will edit it twenty THOUSAND times as well.

So we shall see. Again, I am stepping out of my comfort zone for this project, while also simultaneously editing the next novella in my series, working full time AND doing some freelance on the genealogy projects, so it may be a challenge. I’ll also keep up on this blogging stuff too. But I am always one for keeping busy.

If you’re on NaNoWriMo, I am still a newbie feeling out the platform, but if you can figure out how to friend me, cool. I welcome the support and am trying to welcome any constructive criticism though I still struggle with any criticism so hopefully I will survive 😉

Will check in from time to time to let you all know how it goes.
