The Magician will be in paperback soon!

Magical friends, I have an announcement.

Remember when I finished posting my serial novel The Magician here on this blog back in June?

Well, in talking to some friends of mine who had not started to read it (because admittedly, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea to read fantasy as much as I would love it to be), one actually said:

I would read it if it weren’t just on a blog. I prefer to have a physical copy of the book in my hand.

That idea kind of grew in my head, especially when a few others echoed the sentiment. What if my serial novel was a book as well, an actual paperback copy?

After a great deal of formatting, some minor edits, and a whole bunch of other stuff (like taking my cover from the e-book format I had it in for the blog and turning it into a cover for a paperback)…. I can happily say that The Magician, my urban fantasy serialized novel WILL be released as a paperback starting 8 September 2024.

That being said, I thought I should get a trailer for it made as well, so here it that:

The book will be available for purchase at Amazon, but unlike my Portals Series, this will also be available for expanded distribution, meaning that libraries and bookstores CAN pick it up if they think it will do well. Unfortunately, that also means that it will not be international as a paperback book, since expanded distribution is only available in the United States and the United Kingdom. BUT it will continue to remain FREE here on this blog as well. If there is enough interest, I will release it worldwide as an e-book, but it won’t be on KDP since I refuse to remove it from my blog.

So there is that. I am still working on the sequel to The Magician, called The Trickster, as well as a few other novellas and novels in the Portals Series. And of course, I am still working hard to stay magical and keep writing this old story of mine.
